Frequently asked questions

A quick reference on what Valora Forte does, how the company is set up, and how to work with us.

What does Valora Forte do?

Valora Forte develops textile-based products. We identify where existing products let people down, then design and develop products that resolve those shortcomings and last, concentrating on the material, the construction, and the fit between the product and the problem it solves.

Where is the company registered?

Valora Forte OÜ is a private limited company registered in Estonia under registry code 17573533, at the registered address Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, Kesklinna, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia. These details can be matched directly against the public Estonian Business Register.

What kinds of products do you develop?

Textile-based products. We work with cotton, polyester and cotton–polyester blends, and use other fibres such as elastane, nylon and viscose where they serve a functional purpose. Fibre choice is treated as a functional decision rather than a cosmetic one. Our Expertise page explains this in more detail.

How do you approach quality and durability?

Material and construction decisions are made for how a product holds up in use, not for the lowest unit cost. Products are sampled, tested and refined against the problems they are meant to solve before anything is finalised. The full method is on the Product Development page.

What does your sustainability position mean in practice?

We work to develop products and processes that are environmentally responsible and safe for the end user. Where possible we source materials certified to recognised standards such as OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. We also design for longevity and favour accurate demand planning over overproduction to reduce waste. More is on the Sustainability page.

How does a business get in touch?

Email us at info@valoraforte.eu or use the enquiry form on the Contact page. We reply to the address you provide.

Do you work with businesses outside Estonia?

Yes. Valora Forte works with business buyers and retailers internationally, and enquiries are handled in English. Development and supply terms are agreed directly with each business.

Do you sell to consumers?

No. Valora Forte supplies products to businesses on a wholesale basis only. We do not sell to consumers, and nothing is sold through this website.

What is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100?

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent, product-level standard that tests finished textiles for harmful substances against defined limits. The certification is held by the manufacturer of the certified material. Where possible, we prefer to source materials certified to this standard. More on our Sustainability page.

How do you choose between cotton, polyester and blends?

By function. Cotton offers breathability and natural comfort, polyester offers durability, shape retention and quick drying, and cotton–polyester blends balance the two. Raising the cotton fraction improves comfort but costs durability — the choice follows what the product needs to do in use. Our Expertise page covers each fibre in detail.

Can you develop a product from an initial idea?

Yes. Development starts from the problem the product should solve. We research how existing products fall short, define a specification, and refine through sampling and testing until the product performs as intended. The full process is on the Product Development page.
